Privacy & state rights

What we collect
- Account email and authentication data (via Supabase)
- Join requests: name, address, phone, consent choices
- Incident reports, witness statements, and uploaded evidence you submit
- Campaign admin actions and audit logs for security
- Basic device/browser data in server logs (IP, user agent) for abuse prevention
How we use it
We use information to verify neighbors, organize campaign records, generate draft documents, and operate the platform. We do not sell personal information. Aggregate counts may appear on public invite pages when a campaign enables them.
Who can see it
Submissions are private to verified campaign members and authorized admins. Do not share portal credentials. Export packets are generated only by campaign admins with appropriate role.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California consumer, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
- Request deletion of personal information (subject to legal retention needs)
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information
- Limit use of sensitive personal information where applicable
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights
Submit requests to privacy@quitsoliciting.com. We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization.
Other U.S. state privacy laws
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, delete, correct, or obtain a copy of personal data. Contact privacy@quitsoliciting.com with your state of residence and the right you wish to exercise.
Accessibility & civil rights

Quit Soliciting does not provide legal advice about Unruh, ADA, or other civil-rights claims. Consult licensed counsel in your state if you believe your rights have been violated.
Children
The service is intended for adults participating in neighborhood campaigns. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Retention & security
We retain records while a campaign is active and as needed for legal holds, disputes, or counsel coordination. Evidence files are stored in access-controlled cloud storage with encryption in transit. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this notice as laws or product features change. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
